Pravets Hunting Reserve
The Pravets Hunting Reserve was established in 1971 and is located in the Balkan Mountains, about 60 km from Sofia.
The total hunting territory covers approximately 2,500 hectares in a rugged area with elevations ranging from 400 to 1,400 meters. The forests are mixed, consisting of both deciduous and coniferous trees, with a predominance of deciduous species.
The reserve is home to red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, and wild boar. The best trophies from the area include: Fallow deer: 3.6 kg – 192.21 CIC points, Mouflon: 91.5 cm – 218.05 CIC points, Wild boar: 26.6 cm – 136.50 CIC points.
The reserve offers two accommodation options for its guests: a residence and a hunting lodge. The residence features 17 luxurious rooms and apartments, a dining hall, a conference room, a guest lounge, a trophy room, and a spacious living area. It also includes a spa center with a Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, and massage services. The hunting lodge is stylish and suitable for small gatherings, offering four double rooms.
