House White Yard

The White Yard House is another architectural monument, part of the Architectural Complex Ancient Karlovo, dedicated to the art painting.

The house is a unique model of the mastery of garden landscape design and preserves the authentic spirit of the Renaissance.

A special place in the house holds the Zograf teaching school which hosts demonstrations of various art painting practices, the manufacture and decoration of clay items, the decoration of wooden dolls and special custom’s training.

The White Yard House hosts a permanent exhibition by the artist Nikola Tanev, who is known namely for his paintings of the house.
