The Pateva House is part of the Architectural Complex Ancient Karlovo. It is another compelling show place of the reserve, also a cultural monument of national significance.
It was built by Vasil Patev, the heir of the famous merchant of fabrics, colonial goods and manufactory Patuy Hadjiminchev.
Maazel represents a two-storey building, with a store and warehouse situated on the first floor and another storage and an office of the second floor.
Currently, the Pateva Maazel serves as an information centre where visitors can get information about the Ancient Karlovo Complex and all the sights of the Karlovo region.
