Pomorie Central Beach (Eastern)
The central beach of Pomorie starts from the central part of the town and extends northwards to Aheloy.
The beach strip is one of the longest in the area, about 9 km long. It is covered with fine sand, which in some places is black due to the metal content, and the sea is shallow and pleasant.
The first 3 km starting from the town are supervised, offering umbrellas, sunbeds, a free zone, and bars.
The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, which is given for cleanliness and quality of services provided.
The remaining 6 km to the north are unsupervised, part of the protected Pomorie Lake area. The sandy strip acts as a divider between the lake and the sea.
Due to its proximity to the central part of the town, Pomorie’s central beach is popular among visitors and often preferred.
