Kara Dere Beach

Kara Dere Beach is located about 55 km south of Varna, between the beach strips of Byala and Shkorpilovtsi. The northern slopes of the Stara Planina mountain range are nearby.

The beach strip is long, covered with fine, golden sand, and the sea is crystal clear. To the north, it borders Cape Cherni Nos, and to the south, Cape Byala.

The beach is unsupervised and does not offer umbrellas, sunbeds, bars, or even mobile phone coverage. What it does offer is tranquility, silence, and a connection with nature.

The area is one of the wildest and most deserted places along the Bulgarian northern Black Sea coast. There is no infrastructure or communications around it.

This makes it a favorite place for visitors who love eco-friendly tourism, nudists, and people seeking an escape from civilization and the noise of the modern world. The sea in the area is suitable for surfing enthusiasts.

The beach is difficult to access, with dirt roads suitable for high-clearance vehicles.
