Dudekova House
Dudekova House is part of the Panagyurishte Historical Museum complex.
It is an architectural and historical landmark, reflecting the lifestyle and culture of the Bulgarian National Revival era.
Its architecture is typical of the Plovdiv style, characterized by a symmetrical building plan and rich interior architectural and decorative ornamentation.
The house was built in 1856, and its owner, Petar Dudekov, was a merchant who was killed by the Turks during the suppression of the April Uprising.
The museum exhibition housed in Dudekova House presents ethnographic and historical themes from the time of the National Revival.
It reflects everyday life through traditional household items, hearth equipment, utensils for food preparation and consumption, relaxation areas with typical bedding, as well as traditional male and female costumes.
Among the exhibits, visitors can also see luxury items and furniture that show the emerging new urban culture of the National Revival period with a European influence.
